"For years, critics have questioned whether photography is art. My answer is simple. Art is in the eye and mind of the beholder.

When the viewer observes a printed photograph and enjoys its beauty...sees the shadows and contrast...notices the angles and depth...feels the emotion that the photographer conveys through his or her subject...if it stirs a feeling or memory in their soul...then this is the definition of true art.

My images are primarily captured in black and white. When I am behind the lens of my camera, I am drawn to the way a simple shadow or ray of light can transform what might be considered by some to be an unattractive subject.Crumbling buildings and deteriorating old cars can once again come alive to tell their stories.

From the moment I frame an image in the viewfinder to the instant it appears on paper in my darkroom, I am always amazed how one photograph can relate so much without a single word being exchanged. Each photographic print is a part of my artistic soul. I am honored and blessed to be able to share these images with you, the viewer.

It is my desire that my art will provide continuing enjoyment to you. I hope that my photographs present a unique way of seeing...that they will not only provoke your imagination, but also stir your emotions."
